short practice day

 Today we had a family wedding, so didn't get to spend the normal amount of time that I usually do practicing. I was able to get to where I think is a good stopping point on the zookeeper class practice I was doing yesterday. It has been helpful to work through this metaphorical situation to see a really simple breakdown of how to have classes inherit from each other and have them work together. I'm considering doing another practice run for classes, and having chatGPT make something a little more "real world" for me. what that would be? no idea. but I'm sure it could figure it out.

My next course in the boot.dev program is functional programming. Apparently python isn't a good language to practice it with, but its the only language the course has really taught so far, so thats the one its having us use. yay. I'm looking forward to seeing what its all about, I do like things that function properly and simply, so hopefully it's something that I can pick up on easily and understand quickly. time will tell!
